Hospital Hypnotherapy Service
The hospital hypnotherapy service has been set up to provide hypnotherapy for patients undergoing chemotherapy within the haematology department of the University Hospital of Wales Cardiff.
It is available to patients on the haematology and haemophilia wards, day units, and within the Teenage Cancer Trust unit.
The service was set up to provide help for those patients who are affected by anticipatory nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy but the team are also able to help with a wide range of anxiety related issues including needle phobias.
The team of Clinical Hypnotherapists all trained with the prestigious Clifton Practice and hold the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma as well as enhanced DBS checks.
